Nuke a City Tier List Hub
S–D snapshots for droppers, support machines, and the research tree after rebirth.
This hub is the ranking map for Nuke a City (Roblox listing: Nuke Your City by Nuclear Fun). It is not a character roster and it is not a one-size list you screenshot once. Ranks here answer a narrower question: what converts cash, EXP, and research points into faster launches on a 6-player server? Personal bases sit next to a shared city, so a machine that looks strong in an empty plot can still be the wrong buy if you are about to rebirth, or if you are about to sit on Control while five other players fire at the same skyline.
Use the child pages as the live lists. The machines tier list covers droppers, fountain, fuse, plot expands, and the nuclear unlock. The research upgrades tier list covers the tree you open after a rebirth statue reset. The totems and crates tier list ranks the free group money totem, playtime crates, and army crates that multiply cash after a launch. Pair both with how to make money when you need the cash route, and with the players hub when server habits change which rank actually matters this session.
How S through D is scored
S means the slot still looks correct after you have already spent a painful amount of cash or research points. A means it is the right second buy once the S piece exists. B and C are stage tools: they carry a first run, they fill a gap, or they multiply a big explosive, but they lose to a focused upgrade path. D is not “never touch.” D is “do not open this while your best dropper is still cheap to level.”
The score is opportunity cost, not flavor text. Dropper levels can climb toward 1000. Rockets in public reports sit near 19 as a practical cap. Fuse chains tend to stall in the low 20s. Explosive visuals climb toward 24. Those ceilings matter because a B-tier fountain at level 80 can still print more EXP than an unupgraded nuclear pad you bought and then ignored. Rank is “where the next dollar should go,” not “which model looks the most radioactive.”
Machine snapshot
The free manual dropper is the only honest S-tier object in the first minutes. It is also the first thing that falls off. After you can expand the plot, the nuclear dropper takes the S slot and stays there: creators who restart with late cash still pour into that one machine because it outruns the rest of the pad combined. Poison dropper is the A pickup on the same expand. Fountain and fuse sit in B–C depending on whether you still need raw fill speed or you already have explosives large enough that a double-XP fuse wait is worth the lock.
The trap this hub exists to stop is spreading upgrades across every unlocked pad. Extra plots look like progress. One maxed producer is usually the actual progress. Expand when the nuclear dropper, rebirth statue, and poison dropper come with the land. Do not expand just to own more idle toys. Details and stage notes live on the machines tier list.
Research snapshot
Rebirth is the prestige reset: machines and cash go away, research points stay. Public runs often report about five RP per rebirth, so the first purchases have to be greedy. Money multipliers are S. Production and cost nodes are A. Walk speed, carry, and max totems are B quality-of-life. The tree is not a completion checklist. It is a stack that makes the next nuclear run shorter than the last one. Full spend order is on the research upgrades tier list.
When a 6-player city changes the list
Ranks assume you still get to load the rocket and press Control. On a busy server, an active launcher who camps the fire button will convert EXP faster than an idle farmer who only logs in to collect. That does not promote a weak dropper. It means S-tier production still needs a human (or a careful auto routine) at launch time. Griefing someone else’s load is a playstyle fail, not a rank. If you are choosing how to spend an evening rather than how to spend cash, start on the players hub and then come back here for the buy list.
How to use this hub without overthinking
If you are still on the starter pad, treat this page as a warning label: buy levels on the dropper you have, launch at 100 EXP, and save the expand until nuclear is the prize. If you already expanded, ignore the nostalgia for poison-looking particles until nuclear is funded. If you already rebirth, stop window-shopping walk speed until money nodes are stacked. Then open how to make money for the loop that feeds those ranks.
Lists here will move when Nuclear Fun changes dropper curves or RP payouts. Until a patch says otherwise, nuclear remains the late filter, money research remains the first RP dump, and extra plots remain a luxury after the best machine is actually leveled.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Is this a character or unit tier list?
No. Nuke a City has no fighter roster. These ranks cover machines and research on 6-player servers with personal bases and a shared city.
Why is the nuclear dropper S if poison looks stronger?
Poison is a strong A pickup after plot expand, but public runs still show nuclear beating the rest of the pad combined once you stop spreading upgrades.
Should I copy these ranks before my first rebirth?
Use the machine list first. Research ranks only apply after the statue reset. Early cash still belongs on the best dropper you can actually run.
Do 6-player servers change S-tier?
They change who converts EXP into cash, not which dropper is best. You still fund nuclear and money research; you just need a clean Control launch.
