Nuke a City Codes

Active strings, both redeem windows, and where Nuclear Fun posts the next one.

Codes Hub

Nuke a City (official Roblox listing: Nuke Your City by Nuclear Fun) does not run a huge rotating code catalog. As of September 2026 the list is short on purpose: one working string, two in-game boxes, and a developer habit of posting on Discord and X before anywhere else.

This hub is the live list. For clicks, use how to redeem codes. For what the gifts actually do, use code rewards explained. If you just spawned on a 6-player server, pair a redeem with the getting started loop so the Crate is not sitting unopened while you still have a free manual dropper.

Active codes (September 2026)

CodeRewardsStatusNotes
BOOMPlaytime Points + 1 CrateActiveAll caps, case-sensitive. Trackers report 50 or 100 Playtime Points depending on the write-up.

Type BOOM exactly. boom, Boom, and BOOM with a trailing space all fail. There is no confirmed expired-codes list as of September 2026. When a string dies, it will move to an expired table here instead of being deleted quietly.

Codes are not Robux and they are not a substitute for filling a rocket to 100 EXP. They are a free bump on the same account that already grows explosives offline and shares a city with five other players.

What BOOM is worth on a real run

Playtime Points are not cash. You cannot dump them into a fountain, a fuse chain, or the nuclear dropper. They sit on the long-term track that also moves when you simply stay in a server. After you start rebirth cycles, that track is what buys money multipliers, walk speed, extra explosives, and higher totem or potion caps.

The Crate is a one-shot inventory roll. Community reports put money, explosives, or short boosts inside. Open it during a session you intend to play. A timed boost that fires while you are logged out is a wasted roll, especially because explosives already grow offline without a crate.

If you are still on the free manual dropper, redeem first, then play the loop: fill 100 EXP, load the rocket, press Control, collect cash, buy the next machine. The code does not skip plot expand, and it does not unlock the nuclear dropper for you.

Two redeem methods

Nuclear Fun left two doors to the same box:

  1. The ABX icon in the top-right of the HUD.
  2. The Shop, scrolled all the way to the bottom.

Either path accepts BOOM. If one UI is covered by a shop panel or a mobile thumb, use the other. The full click path, case rules, and “invalid code” checklist live on how to redeem.

Where new codes drop first

There is no weekly drop clock. New strings show up on the official Discord and on X at @jett_str first. Bookmark those two, then come back here to confirm the spelling. After the May 2026 concurrent peak, public code drops slowed with the rest of the update cadence. Treat “new codes every update” headlines as hope, not a schedule.

VIP servers are not allowed, so you cannot hide on a private plot to test a code. Redeem on a normal 6-player server. Your base is personal; the city you nuke is shared. A code failure is almost always typing, not the other five people in the instance.

Redeem before you rebirth

Rebirth wipes machines, cash, the fuse chain, and your base layout. It grants Research Points (players often report about 5 per rebirth). A code you have not typed yet does not survive that wipe as cash, because it was never cash. Playtime Points you already claimed, and crate items you already opened, are the pieces that still matter on the research side.

Do not prestige with BOOM unclaimed. Do not rebirth with a sealed Crate if you can open it first. Then spend the next run on machines rather than wondering whether a promo string was “lost.”

When this page lists more than one code, redeem every active row before you touch the rebirth statue. The statue is late-game money (around 1.5 million cash in player reports) and it is a terrible place to discover you skipped a free crate.

For the economy of points versus cash, stay on code rewards. For the next official ping, watch updates and Discord together rather than trusting a random screenshot.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

What is the working Nuke a City code right now?

As of September 2026 the only confirmed active code is BOOM in all caps. It grants Playtime Points (sources report 50 or 100) plus one Crate. See the table on this Codes Hub and the click steps on how to redeem.

Is BOOM case-sensitive?

Yes. Type BOOM in all capitals with no spaces. boom and Boom are rejected. Full troubleshooting is on how to redeem codes.

Where do new Nuke a City codes appear first?

Nuclear Fun posts on the official Discord and on X (@jett_str) first. This hub is updated after those posts are confirmed in-game. There is no weekly drop clock.

Are there expired codes?

Not on any confirmed public list as of September 2026. When a string dies it will move to an expired table here instead of being deleted. Do not invent old codes from other nuke games.

Should I redeem before I rebirth?

Yes. Claim BOOM and open the Crate before you prestige. Rebirth wipes machines and cash; Playtime Points you already own still help research. Read code rewards and rebirth before you press the statue.
